The Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel at the head of the Langdale Valley is perfect in its seclusion with peaceful holidays whatever the weather – but don’t think that we are isolated; within a few miles a plethora of events, attractions and activities are available for you to discover.

Here we have grouped some of our favourite attractions, giving you approximate mileages to each. Some are just are short drive down the valley, why not discover the area and an attraction making the most of Lakeland’s hospitality.
