The ODG Acoustic Music Festival
For decades The ODG has played host to it's own Music Festival. Each year the festival supports a chosen charitable organisation. We support SARDA, the Lake District Search and Rescue Dogs Association. A team of dedicated volunteers who train, raise and support our wonderful search and rescue dogs.
The festival started in the 80s with Mik Mead at the helm and moved on to Dave and Maureen Reid supported by Rhona and Jim Smith (along with many volunteers). We thank them so much for their tireless work to bring wonderful musicians to the valley and the many, many thousands of pounds they've helped to raise in donations.
Falling between the 2 bank holidays in May every year, a full weekend of free, live music is planned for regulars and visitors to The ODG. We hope you find the time to join us and share in what is a highlight in the Great Langdale calendar. P.S. bring cash, we'll help you to dispose of it in a collection bucket.
You can find details on the next festival on our facebook page or ask at the bar.
