What is the easiest way to make a hotel booking?
The quickest response is via email. Please email your preferred dates and room type to reception@odg.co.uk

Please note reception is not open 24/7 but we do have a phone service that will log your call and someone will call you back if we are unable to answer

Do you allow dogs?
Yes, our hotel is dog friendly but we do charge £10 per night for dogs.
Our bar is dog friendly and if your pooch is lucky enough there may be a treat behind the bar. Water is free and plentiful for our four legged friends.
Do I need to make a table booking for the bar?
We do not take bookings for food in the climbers bar.
Please find yourself a table and make a note of the number. Order your food at the bar.
Hotel residents have access to a private dining room with no need to book.

What time is check in?
You can check in at reception from 2pm. If you are arriving earlier please use the lounge to relax in and enjoy our free wifi.
If you are arriving later, please contact us at reception on 015394 37272 as soon as you are able.
What time is check out?
We would ask you vacate your room by 10am, this allows us time to get the rooms ready for other guests.
Where can I park?
The hotel has a residents only car park opposite the beer garden. The National Trust operates a car park next to the residents car park. The hotel cannot provide change for this car park although you can make a note of the number on the side of the meter and pay up to 24hrs after your stay on their website. There's no mobile phone signal!
At this time the nearest place to get a reliable signal is a mile back up the valley towards Chapel Stile or on the fells. Most mobile phones now have a 'wifi calling' ability. Please feel free to use our free wifi. All we ask is you pay us a visit after your walk :)
