Here we have grouped some of our favourite attractions, giving you approximate mileages to each. Some are just are short drive down the valley, why not discover the area and an attraction making the most of Lakeland’s hospitality.

Rydal Mount
The final home of William Wordsworth from 1813 to 1850, the house has changed little since the poet and his family moved there in 1813. Excellent Lakeland views and over 4 acres of gardens.
