Residents Lounge

Residents LoungeRelax your senses as you enjoy the sound and aroma of an open log fire burning in the resident’s lounge. The lounge is spacious and comfortable for you to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon tea with some delicious home-bakes, to prepare for or after a hard days walk.

Residents Bar

Hallway ClockThe Resident’s bar is quieter than the walker’s bar to allow our guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings over a pint of finest traditional ale, chosen wine from our large cellar or a dram from our wide and varied selection of Scottish malt whiskies.

Hikers Bar

Hikers BarMost guests call in at our Hikers Bar first, where a selection of real ales provides a just reward after a long drive or a hard day of fell and rock. However if real ale is not your first choice, there is a large selection of the finest Scottish whiskies and a large wine cellar. We often have live entertainment, in the form of occasional open music nights where we encourage anyone to get up and play. The Bar always has a friendly, lively spirit about the place, where people enjoy sharing experiences of the local walks and climbs conquered.

Lunchtime Bar Meals are served in the Hikers Bar from 12 noon until 2pm.

Evening Bar Meals are served daily from 6pm to 9pm.

I was totally blown away with the glorious views – p.s. the enormous fly pie was great too!!!
